Not all Rainbows and Sunshine

Now walking a Kingdom life is work but with God on your side and he is on your side you can do it. (Matthew 28:20). Every day I face temptation I have to humble myself and walk in kindness. Believe me when I tell you it can be a struggle at times. The scripture that keeps me grounded is Isaiah 26:3 which states "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!". So, when I get irritated or frustrated, I repeat keep my mind on God, he will keep me in perfect peace over and over again until this calming peace come over me. And I always feel the peace come over me. In the beginning it took a little while but now it's almost immediate. Another thing that keeps me grounded is remembering that I do all things unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23) and he rewards me for my deeds. I believe people get stuck on when people don't respond how they feel they should respond when they do something for them. Remember God rewards you not man and Gods reward for you is so much greater. # Maybethishelps
