The Journey Begins

I remember about a year ago my life was chaotic and I had no peace. I’ve always been taught to do life and not church meaning I had to work the Word. Remember faith without works is dead(James 2:26) I knew that the life I was living wasn’t the life God wanted for me. I have my church app on my phone (RVA City Church) and when I feel lost I always go to the Word of God It is what my Pastors taught me. So I go on the app and Pastor Nicole is teaching the lesson Be Still and Know and the transformation began. In this lesson it was revealed to me that God wants me all in or out here’s no straddling the fence. After hearing that lesson I completely surrendered myself to God and he immediately being to work in me. I learned that I needed to listen to God and obey his Word. God told me to not look at t.v for 30 days and I obeyed. For those 30 days I listened to my church app and pressed into the Word. The more I pressed in the more God revealed to me and the closer I drew into to Him. I just wanted to know God the way he knows me inside and out.
